there are readings from Liu Yichang's story intersection in the movie in the mood for love, a superbly crafted love story which takes you on a mellow journey in time and evokes a mood which you never want to get out of.

and i tried tracking down this story and reached this book, The Columbia Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature

this movie by bertolucci (he of the last emperor, little buddha and ofcourse, last tango in paris) tells the story of a relation that evolves between an american teenager and a french brother - sister pair, and places it against the canvas of the height of cinema in paris in the sixties. based on a book by gilbert adair called "the holy innocents" which isnt to be found anywhere and the only links to it are links to a resale of first edition copies. but strangely the same book can be found in europe as "the dreamers" but not in the united states.

| multiagent systems |

| | led zeppelin : good times bad times | ] |

multiagent systems (even single agent ones) have always been fascinating. the idea that a system can mimic some behaviour of yours, and that many agents together can co-operate, can conflict and the automatic evolution of these within the framework of set rules is something that has always been full of intrigue. this book attempts to present writings by people from the field, and from a read of the first chapter, it seems eminently readable and interesting.
